Receiving the Order: Once the customer places the order, our team of Master Tailors get to work immediately. We start by discussing the customer’s requirements in detail, talking about the 50 measurements, and carefully noting down their preferences for style, cut, and fabric with the salesman.
Ordering the Fabrics: We source our fabrics from mills all around the world, with a focus on Italy, England, and France. Our team orders the exact meterage required for each suit, taking into consideration factors such as body size, fabric pattern, and customer preferences. The fabrics we use are some of the finest in the world, costing anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars per meter.
Ordering the Trimmings: Once we have the fabrics, we order all the necessary trimmings such as horn or nut buttons, linings, shoulder pads, wadding, and canvas. We pay close attention to every detail, ensuring that every element of the suit is of the highest quality and matches the customer’s preferences
Drafting the Patterns: Our Master Tailors then draw the patterns by hand, a time-consuming process that requires a great deal of skill and experience. We take into consideration every measurement and style preference to create a pattern that fits the customer perfectly. We use the same techniques as the tailors on Savile Row, ensuring that the pattern is precise and accurate.
Stitching and Putting Together the Suit: Once the pattern is drafted, we begin the process of stitching and assembling the suit. Our team takes great care to ensure that every detail is perfect, from the floating canvas construction to the finishing touches such as the buttonholes and linings. This process takes roughly 30 man-hours, and involves a great deal of precision and skill.
